Acclaimed Conference Now Available on DVD: Managing Chronic Pain

Managing Chronic Pain While Keeping the "Control" in Controlled Substances

A new DVD series entitled, "Managing Chronic Pain While Keeping the Control in Controlled Substances" is now available through the Franklin-Grand Isle County Chronic Pain/Narcotics Community Forum.
The acclaimed conference, originally held in 2009 has been endorsed by professionals from such places as the Connecticut State Medical Society, Albany Medical Center, Brattleboro Retreat and other esteemed institutions.
The DVD series covers the two day conference addressing the responsibilities around issuing presciptions for pain managment. A sampling of topics include pain management strategies, dispensing and knowing when and how to stop prescribing, guidance for difficult patient conversations and reimbursement guidelines for urine drug screening. The DVD conference is eligible for 14 Category 1 CME / CEU / CNE (continuing education / independent study) credits.
